Cassandras Thoughts
Being a Rockette changed my life, it made me feel important and brought out my talent to dance and be a leader. It was hard at first but it all was worth it in the end. I love every single girl and that's what motivated me to stick with this activity. I loved the time i got to spend with everyone and they all are so fun because they dont care what anyone thinks about them. Practices were fun because we all got along and didnt have to be serious all the time. But we did get down to work when we needed to. When i got captain it changed everything. I was so happy because I wanted to make this a great year. But I didnt change, we had fun and we were serious at all the same time. I hope that i made as much as a difference in their lives as they did mine. Rockettes are the 1 reason i dont want to graduate because the thought of leaving my girls brings tears to my eyes, they mean the world to me.
Life Changing Event
Having surgury in 10th grade on my feet and having to be in a wheelchair. Nw i understand how hard it is to have to go through the ridicule everyday. Some people dont understand that just because someones in a wheelchair dont mean they are deaf, theycan still hear you and ignorrant words. I will always treat them with respect from now on
Quote I Live By
Nothing in life worth doing is easy
Favorite Memory
11th grade year at erie east. Rockettes were wearing banana suits and it was pourin down rain and we couldnt even hold equipment. We went out on the field and just free style danced did what ever we wanted and didnt care we just had fun with it
